Our American Plan North Woods Getaway, $199 per person, per day*.

Enjoy three scheduled meals daily offered in the grand sporting camp style at the main lodge. If you would like have a private picnic we’ll gladly arrange it. Your accommodations will be in a private, waterfront cottage with hot shower or bathtub, complete with all necessary bed and bath linens and basic amenities. At the daily cocktail hour, Hors d'oeuvres, mixers and ice are supplied. Your package also includes free use of kayaks, canoes, fishing gear*, walking trails, pool table, library and collection of games.

• Parking for your vehicle at our private gated landing and transport by boat to and from the lodge.

Our Policies

Children: Please talk with us about your children and their ages. Because this is a natural environment, some children might lack for entertainment. Please feel free to talk with us regarding your particular family. We want to be certain everyone will find activities to delight him or her.

Pets: We prefer that you leave your pets at home for their own comfort, that of other guests and the indigenous wildlife. However, we will consider pets on a case by case basis. Bringing your bird dog for upland hunting is another matter. Please call to discuss.Our own Golden Retriever, Harley, lives at camp. She is a very friendly, loveable and an especially obedient part of the crew.

Smoking: Penobscot Lake Lodge is generally a non-smoking facility. Smokers will be requested to smoke out of doors.

Environment: We practice recycling as much as possible at Penobscot Lake Lodge. The sustainability of the natural experience is dependent upon our careful stewardship.

Environmental Leadership: Penobscot Lake Lodge is accredited under the Dept. of Environmental Protection's Environmental Leader program. We expect that our guests will adhere to our policy of being good stewards of the environment. We also adhere to a "carry in, carry out" policy with regards to hiking and your personal trash.

Fishing: We like to practice "catch and release" fishing, although we certainly will cook your fish for dinner, if you choose.
